It disperses darkness. “You are a light”, Jesus, teaching on the mount, he told the multitude; “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” Matthew 5:14. You become light immediately you accept Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You are saved to radiate your environment. Servants of Christ shine with His light in a society that is hopelessly lost, left to itself. Now answer this question; What is the basic function of light? To provide answer to this question, is simple, light is to dispel darkness. Darkness cannot remain where there is light.
