IS GAMBLING A SIN? KNOW FROM THE BIBL. E.(part 1)

WHAT PEOPLE SAY   Many people view gambling as harmless fun, as far as it is practiced legally. Some forms of legalized gambling such as government - sponsored lotteries, generate revenue for programs that benefit the public.
WHAT BIBLE SAYS  The  Bible makes no significant mention of gambling. Yet, it does reveals a number of guiding principles that answers the question "Is Gambling A Sin? "and what God feels about gambling.
Consider The following  explanations.
1.) The nature of gambling - wining money at the expense of others - is at odds to the Bible's warning to" take heed and beware of Convetousness " (Luke 12:15).
     Gambling is in fact fueled with Convetousness. Gambling institutions advertise big jack - pots while downplaying the poor odds of winning , because they know that the dreams of wealth prompt players to wager large amounts at the casinos. Rather than helping a person guard against greed, gambling promotes the desire for easy money.
2.) Gambling is based on an inherently wining money at the expense of others.
     However, the Bible has encourages us not to seek after other people's wealth " 1 Corinthians 10:24 KJV Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth".
Above all, one of the ten  commandments states that you should not convert or desire any thing that belongs to your fellow human. (Exodus 20:17).
   When a gambler sets his heart on winning , he is in essence, hoping that others looses their money in other for him to profit.

* True, in some countries today or some part of the world, funds from so called legalized gambling are used to pay for education, economic development, and other public programs. But the use of those funds does not change how they were obtained - through activities that greatly encourages greed, convetousness, and selfishness and that promotes the desire of getting something for nothing which the Holy Bible is totally against.
Always Remember;
You should always reap what you sow. " Luke 19:22 KJV
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:"
Also, note that,
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. (Exodus 20;17).

GOD WILL DESTROY HIMANITY AGAIN - by Pastor Lazarus Mouka (full album)

Warning: God Will Destroy Humanity Again...  Our Father in heaven, the Almighty God is the Creator of heaven and earth and everything inside them whether in heaven or on earth or beneath the earth. Psalm 24:1 says,” The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. ” So, we can see from the above, that all things in the earth or in heaven or beneath the earth were created and established by Him. Genesis 1:1-2 reveals,” In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” By implication, everything inside the earth as had already been emphasized, was created by God. Br  John 1:1-3 also affirms,” In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things

MURMURING BRINGS DEATH-by Pastor Lazarus Mouka

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUE, 3RD FEBRUARY, 2015. THEME: MURMURING BRINGS DEATH MEMORY VERSE: Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 1 Corinthians 10:9-10 TEXT: Numbers 21:5-6 5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. MESSAGE: We have a song here that reads thus ‘Don’t murmur, don’t faint, the God of Chosen answers prayers.’ It has been tested and proved that God of Chosen answers prayers.
