WHEN PRAYERS CANNOT BE ANSWERED - By Pastor Lazarus Mouka

INTRODUCTION;-
Many are expert in prayer because they believe that through it they shall receive from God always, but unfortunately many have prayed without answer, such people in our mist should know that some prayers cannot be answered and those praying in sin will have their prayers hindered.
So, we shall consider the following subheadings ;-
1. Prayers That Cannot Be Answered And Reasons.
2.Our Response And Prayers That God Answers.
1.PRAYERS THAT CANNOT BE ANSWERED AND REASONS.
We all should know that not all prayers are answered. The prayer that is against the will of God cannot be answered, even Jesus Christ our Master, when He prayed, he knew only God's will should be done and that anything against God's will shall not be done and anything against God's will shall not be answered (Matthew 26:39-42 KJV
And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt . [40] And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? [41] Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. [42] He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.) And when we pray in unrepented sin, it shall not be answered (
Isaiah 59:1-2 KJV
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: [2] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
).    Also, selfish prayers or praying amiss are not accepted by God (
James 4:2-3 KJV
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. [3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.). All such prayers cannot be answered.

2 OUR RESPONSE AND PRAYERS THAT GOD ANSWERS
when ever we pray,  we should submit to the will of God (Matthew 26:42). We should not make selfish prayers nor pray in sin. From henceforth, we should pray the prayers that God Answers, such as praying according to His will ( 1 John 5:14 KJV
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:)
  We shoulder pray  others and pray for righteousness or purity (Matthew 5:8).
So, as we pray in line with the above scripture, He will answer all our prayers in Jesus name, Amen.
